Poll: Best Gargantuan for Privateer’s Hordes?

Privateer Press PollThere are finally pictures for all the four Privateer Press Gargantuans (there might be a 5th coming for Minions?). With the Hordes Gargantuans (and Warmachine Colossal), Privateer wrestles its way into the large miniature segment with some stunning sculpts. Which Gargantuan is your favourite: The Mountain King, the Woldwrath, the Archangel or the Mammoth?

Warmahordes and Me

I admit I am not a Warmachine / Hordes player. My only Privateer miniature remains the Druid Gone Wilder from Disobedient Donkey (need to paint that!!). There is no denying, however, that they make fine miniatures. Personally, I usually prefer the Hordes range over the comic-steampunk of Warmachine.

The Trollblood Mountain King and Circle of Orboros Woldwrath have been out for a while. More recently, teasers and bits for the Skorne Mammoth and Legion Archangel.

Long story short… which one is your favourite?

I’d share my thoughts on these, but I don’t wanna pre-empt the poll.

    Voted Archangel, but the Mountain King was close behind (and would probably the best gaming piece as it’s far more transportable and stable on the table)

    I’ve got both the Mountain King and the Woldwrath. I’ll probably be picking up the Archangel as well.

    The mammoth needs, to my player’s eye, to be re-posed so that it can get base-to-base with things. Those tusks look problematic. If they’re removable /magnetizable, that would be a good solution.

    And as I write that I’m looking at my magnets and thinking “yes… yes, I could do this. Maybe I need one of these, too.”

    Favorite? Woldwrath re-posed to stand up straight, then Archangel, then Mountain King, Then Woldwrath default pose, then Mammoth.

      Interesting.

      I must say, I am also quite a fan of the Woldwrath. But it’s not getting much love on this poll.
