5 New Mysterious Ladies for Infinity the Game

My knowledge of Infinity is limited, but something seems to be cooking over at Corvus Belli.

Infinity-miniatures-painter of fame Angel Giraldez released a whole bunch of pictures on his facebook-page, including those 5 lovely ladies below.

It seems as if these are a pin-up and/or alternative model line, not “regular” Infinity gaming miniatures (though they lack the “cockpit” addition of Corvus Belli’s previous bootleg line).

I could be wrong. Either way, if you know more about them than me, let me know what they are. They certainly are great miniatures!

Thoughts?

Well, the last lady certainly has a more martial look to her. She could well be a full-fledged Infinity warrior.

Let me know what you think (and what these are!).

I am looking forward to your comments!

I really like Infinity but the increasing fixation on these cheesecake posed miniatures is really turning me off.

It’s an odd turn for CB admittedly. I assume their bootleg line made tons of money.

Agree, but it’s always been sort of in the background static, but lately it’s really getting sold up front which bothers me.

Um. Well; The girl with the dragon I’d be quite happy with. The others. . . . Personally, just alienate me.
The tech isn’t a bad design in itself, the problem is the stripper-pole pose and the loving attention put into that absolute bum-cleavage. While comm-girl just looks like she’s wandered in straight off a cheesecake recruiting poster, the comic-book convention circuit, or the set of a rap video.

Captain G-cups would actually be a very useful miniature, in an interesting and dynamic pose – If it wasn’t for the overwhelming effort put into the exaggerated T+A.

The Samus cosplayer at the bottom? Oh gods, where do I start. . . .

I think the worst thing is that, from a purely technical standpoint, they’re actually nice sculpts – Clearly a great deal of time, effort and skill has gone into producing miniatures that seem designed to give any female gamers a dreadful feeling that “here we go AGAIN. . .” – While simultaneously confirming some of the worst stereotypes about male wargamers in the minds of any onlookers.

    Not impressed. At all.
