I have to agree there.. if this was done by anyone else, except Mitchell, this book would be 1.5 stars at most.

i feel these two authors craft worlds and situations that dont get dull.

I mean how often can Cain being a coward and stumbling into a victory happen without it getting boring? Well its at 11/12 books so far and still fun to read/listen.

I hope Chambers can get his hands on a Harlequin based trilogy dealing with ahriman trying to get to the BL..

Yeah. Spend a long time thinking about the rating. Was gonna rate it worse at some points, but I still enjoyed Andy Chamber's style and way with words, which (IMO) as above a lot of other BL stuff, plot-problems notwithstanding.

that extra half star is generous.

My main hang up with this book is that Morr, by far the most interesting character, was killed off at the end of the second book. No harlequin trickery that "saved" him, that i expected to happen, something along the likes of the ending of Path of The Warrior.

As for the other characters, besides Motely, the others could have easily been ignored and we could have just followed Kheradruakh to show the bad stuff happening with Nurgle and the events of the Disjunction.

Such a sad ending to an interesting and awesome series.
