Chaos Daemons Teaser for Warhammer

For a while now, the rumour-mill has hinted at a future release for Chaos Daemons, possibly even a double-release for both Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40K. Now Games Workshop put up one of their teaser trailers – a very daemonic one – on YouTube, announcing a release (to pre-order) for February 23rd.

There still isn’t a lot of meat in this teaser. Unlike their previous, highly anemic teasers, this one does flash you a lot of concept art though. I am not sure if it means anything, but it sure is pretty!

Update: The White Dwarf pictures of the new Chaos Daemons have been revealed

First up, the actual teaser:

#2 – Daemon Teaser Screens

Here are some screenshots I took from the teaser. No miniatures anywhere, as far as I can tell. It is very good at getting me into the mood for all things daemonic though, I have to admit.

Here’s hoping we get a properly twisted and weird Daemons wave come March (or, February 23rd, as pre-orders go)!

Bloody hell, if they release beastmen after this I will scream, they have been pumping out the armies that I play….If they release Sisters I will forgive them ;-)

Well, whatever they release afterwards. Two 40K Codexes AND Two WFB Army books in the first quarter alone is certainly a new record.

Not sure if they can or want to keep it up at that speed, but if they do even half that for the rest of the year, it’ll be a record number of new books for both systems for 2013

oh i agree i hope they keep going like this at least until mid year. Although i seriously hope they get some more proof reading done going forward, i didn’t see as many mistakes in the warriors book as tgere was in the Dark Angels one but it was still far from perfect.
