For the Lion! Why is this a separate giveaway?
If you’ve read the details of my Chaos Space Marines Hobby Challenge (or even just the title), it’s obvious that it is all about … well … Chaos Space Marines. Chaos Space Marines make up one half of the Dark Vengeance novel as well, waging brutal war against their tenacious Dark Angels foes.
When Christian Dunn contributed an author copy of his Dark Vengeance novel to my contest, he clearly wanted to hold up the banner of the Imperium in my depraved Chaos Space Marines contest. He thus defiantly dedicating the book to the Sons of the Lion!
(Well, the real reason is that things on my end just took longer to set up than planned.)
Either way, I kinda felt bad about giving away a book proudly bearing a Dark Angels battle cry in a giveaway-event dedicated to fans of Chaos Space Marines (though the Dark Gods would’ve surely been pleased!). Thus, I decided to start a separate, slightly more open giveaway to give everyone (including those already in on my Chaos Space Marines Challenge) a shot at this signed copy of the Dark Vengeance novel.

My Chaos Space Marines Hobby Challenge ends on November 11th, mainly to give people time to get their Chaos Space Marines painted (if they want to enter with an entirely new army). As this contest is easier to enter (and to avoid having it all end in the same week), I’ll make this one shorter.
The contest to win this author-copy of the (now out-of-print) Dark Vengeance novel, signed by Christian Dunn with his name and a defiant “For the Lion!”, will end on November 5th (remember, remember…). I’ll be out watching the bonfires and fireworks and raffle out the winner for this great little prize once I am back. So don’t wait too long!
