Warmill.co.uk Unveils LED DreadBall Pitch!

Mantic Games‘ DreadBall Kickstarter concluded a few days ago with nearly 3/4 of a Million US$ in pledges. I’ve followed the game for some time and even managed to leave my own little mark in its development. A notable development is the feverish quest to develop ever more prestigious pitches for this future sports game. Now Warmill.co.uk is about to one-up Mantic’s premium pitches with a fully illuminated LED pitch!

Deluxe DreadBall Pitches from Mantic Games

Ever since Mantic Game first unveiled their upcoming DreadBall game, people have discussed the board (“pitch”) the game is played on. The default pitch that will come with the box is a fine enough gaming-board. But hobbyists wouldn’t be hobbyists if they didn’t want to take it further than that.

Mantic Games themselves have added fuel to the flames during their Kickstarter run by offering not only one but two variants. First, the “Quadrant Zero Board” made from High-Quality MDF that allows people to customize the board to their heart’s desire. Second, the acrylic “Co-Prosperity Park Arena” with custom inlets for the greatest amount of “shiny”.

Can Mantic’s acrylic board be beaten? You bet it can. UK Terrain Maker Warmill.co.uk just unveiled their contribution for the truly dedicated DreadBall fan: A premium pitch featuring an optional built-in remote-controlled colour changing LED system!
