Sounds like GW are really going out of their way to close down independent retailers and make it difficult to find places to play and but other wargames. I hope all the boycotters have a big enough non GW fanbase.

True for the retailers.

For the print-run, it would have at least been large enough to be profitable. What company would make a print-run too small to get into the black? And this one did in less than 48 hours. So I think it’s a good sell.

I don’t think it was expected of the two retailers boycotting the book to influence overall sales figures very much.

As for the popularity, it’s hard to judge it, when we don’t know the size of the print run.

Good on the retailers… Kicking your supply chain in the teeth every time is not only rude and un-supportive but counterintuitive to the long term health of your product line. GW does many things right, treating their supply chain like dirt is not one of them.
