Coming to a Smartphone soon…
All things come in three (so far), it seems. Games Workshop clearly is on a new strategy for licensing Warhammer and Warhammer 40K out for computer games, especially apps and tablet-games. Roadhouse Interactive signed a deal with Games Workshop to make “side-scrolling action game for smartpones and tablets” based on the iconic Warhammer 40K Space Marines.
After Zattikka and Slitherine, Roadhouse Interactive is the third, comparatively small game-producers to sign up for a Warhammer license. Games Workshop sure isn’t trusting in the big studios any longer.

#3 – Thoughts?
Games Workshop’s digital production efforts appear to be even more frantic than their recently beefed up Codex-release schedule.
Are they just “trying out” different developers?
Are they trying to move more thoroughly into the digital gaming world?
For a company that has long been ridiculed for “missing” the digital age, they are sure going at it with a vengeance now.
What do you think of all those Warhammer and Warhammer 40K games for phones and tablets in the making (there’s also Warhammer Quest, which has been announced a while ago)?
