And before I forget it, Forge World is also showing off new Space Marines-themed resin terrain for your gaming table!

Given the deluge of Horus Heresy Space Marines, the XV107 R’Varna and Warhammer Forge Troll MotherHag almost feel like afterthoughts, though they certainly would have been enough FW goodies for a Games Day by themselves a few years ago.

Either way, I like those Iron Hands. They turned the unique Iron Hands flavour up to 11 with them.

    those are beautiful models, and I have just started collecting Iron Hands so they will perhaps form my Honour Guard. However, can’t help but notice the fluff inconsistency- everywhere so far, including White Dwarf 262 (the main source for IH fluff) it is the LEFT hand that is replaced at initiation, not the right!

      Hmmmm.

      Well, perhaps one can “overlook” that in that they are Heresy? Maybe the ritual initiation didn’t start until after Ferrus died?

        those are also nice. Maybe ‘counts as’ Legion of the Damned with the storm shield accounting for the 3++, since you can’t take normal PA infantry with storm shields in the Space Marine Codex?

        BTW another blog showed the Iron Hands Legionaries above with a bit of fluff, presumably from the Forgeworld newsletter, about how they have a hand replaced with bionics at their initiation. Just that the models show the right hand being bionic, whereas they have always depicted the left, both in models and fluff. Oh well, maybe at some point after the Heresy they changed from cutting off left hands to cutting off right!
