I’d probably get a space wolves one if they made one for the 13th company. However, in the case of Codex Space Marines, for 100% extra I’d have expected more pages on the chosen chapter and more models of that chapter painted in the miniature gallery towards the back, maybe even re do the artwork with all pictures of that chapter, and with the money GW gets, they can easily pay someone to either draw some more or find pics in their archives to use. Just hoping that by the time they re do Space Wolves they improve on the content. Would also like to see them do a Sister of Battle Codex seeing as they made a separate one for Grey Knights…

True. Expecting “standard shipping” to not work is a rather odd move. If that were true, they probably shouldn’t offer/use it in the first place.

Ok, so I got my answer !
They’re offering to … wait for it… send me a refund if I return the book !

Send it back, we’ll give you your money back.

(Yeah I know, I’m not usually the ranting guy either… But here, hey !)

Oh, actually, they also advised me to order through UPS for next order – it should be safer.

So I just told them “UPS or not will have little consequence if you use some crappy cardboard envelopes, and thank you, I’ll keep it, no wonder your clients are deserting you”…

Still stunned at their answer…

Iv’e seen a couple they are nice and I’m not going to say that folks who are willing to drop 35 quid more are foolish because I will more than likely purchase the Collector’s BA codex when it’s released next year.

Just sent a mail – in French, so I won’t take the time to translate it, sorry…
Just mentioning that considering the almost double price of the limited edition, they could at least have used a proper “secure” package, that would have ensured its safe arrival…
I’ll let you know about their answer (if any).

I was given the option between sending it back or having it changed at a local GW store.

I took the email from GW customer service to my local GW and they gave me a new copy for the old…. this being the regular, not-LE edition of the Iyanden Codex which all GW stores obviously had plenty of at the time.

i am still tempted by the white scars one but i am not willing to pay $195 australian, the normal is $90… I think the only the that would tempt me in the future is a Sisters of battle one, and a beastmen one if they do it for fantasyland
