Games Day UK 2013 is drawing closer. The highlights we know will be on display at the show are the XV107 R’Varna Riptide variant and Iron Hands Primarch Ferrus Manus from Forge World.
For the Fantasy-side of things, I am hoping to see some of the rumoured new Dark Elves from Games Workshop itself. It seems though, as if Forge World Warhammer Forge has a Fantasy-treat as well: A Giant River Troll Hag
Giant River Troll Hag
From Games Workshop’s Blog today:
The Forge World team have also promised to bring a few more of their latest creations, such as the XV107 R’Varna Battlesuit and the Giant River Troll Hag, both of which will be available on the day.
I have seen no pictures of this Hag so far.
It is not unlikely, however, that this miniature will be the finished version of the “Troll Mother” WIP seen on the most recent Forge World open day.
The picture above was taken at that event by Mindura.
Are You Shopping At Warhammer Forge?
Forge World stuff for Warhammer 40K (and 30K) is obviously very popular.
But what about Warhammer Forge?
Do you (still) play Warhammer Fantasy? And if so, do you have a Warhammer Forge model in your collection? What would make you buy one?
Warhammer Forge, while obviously fantastic miniatures, still strikes me very much as the niche within a niche, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen one outside those displayed in GW stores.
Have you?
