5 New Pictures for Warriors of Chaos

Some new pictures have appeared, showing some of the details for the new miniatures for Warhammer Fantasy Battle’s Warriors of Chaos, who will (it appears) be released next month. The pictures are from the February 2013 White Dwarfs.

I am still not 100% sure if I like them or not. In any case, they are certainly a bold and new direction for the Warriors of Chaos.

unholy crap. They are awesome. It isn’t really a new direction it is just back to the direction they were heading down prev6th ed…in 6th ed they radically changed the style direction for both chaos warriors and daemons and now they are slowly going back to the classic style which i much prefer. Can not wait to pick up the book…

    it is causing a lot of grief with people who started after 6th as they prefer the more realistic style, i just found it boring and i still currently use the 5th ed plastic warriors over the 6th ed ones…but at least with them doing this style they have more leway with doing crazy mutations and over thetop monsters

      Well, there clearly are a lot of faux Chaos Warrior miniatures out there, so I am happy to see them take a different direction.
      
      I just wasn’t aware this direction existed before. Those current Chaos Warriors are so iconic, I just assumed that’s how it’s always been.
