More evidence appears that the starter-set for Warhammer 40K 7th Edition will indeed be the same that it was for Warhammer 40K 6th Edition… Dark Vengeance.

The starter set for 40k 7th will, wait for it ……………

Stay totally the same outside of the mini rule book getting redone.

So the rumors on other sites about them going to Blood Angels vs Orks, IG vs Eldar are totally and 100% false.

Mark our words on this as we have not given you any bad information yet.

Of course, 40K Radio has been saying so for months. Still, the ludicrous Blood Angels vs. Orks Starter Box rumours have gained a surprising amount of traction recently, despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

    So it might be possible in the nearer future to get a 6.0 version of the starter box quite cheap :-)

    No harm lost.. its 2 years into a cycle, and i doubt they want to splash out on a new starter set just yet.

    plus this 7th release is because they are having a tad bit of trouble in the last few months, so they need a big boost in sales..

    why waste a million on new molds?

    very glad about this, was really reluctant to spend £££ on the new rules after just 2 years, but I don’t mind buying a starter so much. I can use most of it and Ebay the Dark Angels.

    I just hope they bring this out soon because I don’t want to have to wait too long for the new rules and I’m sure as hell not buying the big book…

    it’s possible that the rumoured orks v’s blood angels set will be an epic scale standalone game.

      A lot of things are possible.

      If I had to bet money on it though, I would bet on the rumoured Orks vs. Blood Angels set being just bit of wishlisting that mistakenly got blown up to ungodly proportions.

    Is there any kind of expected date on that starter set ? I almost bought the V6 one not knowing the V7 was almost there. Hopefully the people at Dark Sphere will cancel my order and I can order the V7 when it’s there.
