Pins of the Month – May 2014

Wow, it’s been another month already, and it was a busy one at that.

Time for some highlights from www.pinsofwar.net.

Arcane Factories are currently running a Kickstarter for a cool range of sci-fi, steampunk and fantasy models. They’ve been kind enough to share some sculpts and concepts.

Go have a look!

#2 – Malifaux from Belverker

Belverker’s been with Pins of War from the start. Some more fantastic work from him on Malifaux miniatures by Wyrd Games.

Awesome stuff (as usual)!

#3 – Lord of Skulls Grinder

Waaaghschale from Waaaghgaming has some mad conversions for the skull god.

And this monster isn’t the only one!

#4 – WIP Magnetic Bases by Spaced2020

via spaced2020 on Warmachine

Finally, on the hobby side of things, Spaced2020 has been combining magnets and bases in interesting ways on his Warmachine minis. Can’t wait to see the final result!

#5 – Thoughts?

As always, many thanks to all the hobbyists who have been sharing their work on www.pinsofwar.net (especially those I missed for this post!).

Keep up the hobby! Also, don’t forget to leave a comment and let me know what you think!

Once again, i am very happy that you like my little buddy ;)
    Thanks for your props!

wow mate, that is an awesome conversion, did the lord of skulls torso fit fairly easily on the legs?

      • http://www.waaaghgaming.de/ Waaaghschale

The canon under his belly made it super easy to get both parts connected.
Almost as it was designed for this conversion.

To magnetize it would be pretty hard i guess, but I don’t see any problem to play it as a Soul Grinder or a Lord of Skulls with spider legs.
