Summer is over. Days are shorter and the air is getting colder. Time to get back into the Hobby! What better reason is there than the fantastic new Chaos Space Marines miniatures for Warhammer 40K?

The Dark Vengeance starter box gave a first taste of the range. Now the Chaos Space Marines Codex follows with a lot of new Chaos miniatures. Time to expand, revive or even start an entirely new Chaos Space Marine hobby project for Warhammer 40K.

 

1. PinsofWar 2012 Hobby Challenge: Paint and Share your Chaos Space Marines Miniatures

Are you painting Chaos Space Marines from Dark Vengeance? Have you pre-ordered the new Chaos Miniatures? Are you on the fence about plunging for a new army?

Whatever the case. Whatever your hobby skills. No matter what paint-scheme you pick:

2. How do I enter this hobby challenge?

If you want to win my prizes, you will have to show the world your painted Chaos Space Marines miniatures on PinsofWar.net. After that, you will need to enter your submission into the Rafflecopter widget at the end of this page.

Here is the long version what you will need to do for this little competition:

1. Register a PinsofWar Account: First you need a PinsofWar.net account. If you do not have an account yet, you can register here, using either your email or your facebook-account. If you already are a member of PinsofWar.net, login here.
2. Create “Chaos Space Marines” Board: After that you need to create a “board”. If you are not familiar with pinboard-sites like PinsofWar.net, visit our support page for detailed information. The category of the board will most likely be Warhammer 40K (though it doesn’t have to be, if you are using Chaos Space Marines for something else).
3. Upload or Share Pictures of your Chaos Space Marines Minis: Last but not least, share your Chaos Space Marines hobby project. Simply upload photos from your computer. You can even use PinsofWar.net as your photo repository. Alternatively, if you already have a blog, a plog on a forum, a YouTube-channel or website, share your photos or videos on PinsofWar.net using the easy-to-use “War Pin” Button. People will find your site by clicking on your “pins”!
4. Enter in the Raffelcopter widget below. Add your link to your pinsofwar.net account or to your Chaos Space Marines board on pinsofwar.net in the Rafflecopter widget below. You can earn some bonus entries by spreading the word via Twitter or Facebook!

5. This is a Chaos Space Marines Contest: Just to be clear, this is a themed contest for hobby-projects painting Chaos Space Marines. Future contests might be different, but this one is for Chaos Space Marines. Painting old Chaos Space Marines miniatures (or even chaos-themed terrain projects, scratch-builds, etc..) is generally fine as long as your project is current and fits the theme (I have the last word). The project should be current and the work must be your own! Obvious, no?

4. How will the winners be selected?

 

Good news first: I will ship all prizes to you free of charge, anywhere in the world. Hurray!! Second, the contest will end on November 11th. The winners will be generated through Rafflecopter to make sure the contest is fair. Here is the fine print!
