The license (prospects?) for a full-fledged “old school” computer game in the Warhammer 40K universe may have sunk with THQ (for now? forever?), but these app-games, browser-games and free2play takes on Warhammer 40K just keep on coming.
Here’s another one: Warhammer 40.000 Space Wolves from HeroCraft, a Russian mobile games developer.

#2 – Warhammer 40.000 Space Wolves Game Info
Warhammer 40.000 Space Wolves will b a free-to-play turn-based strategy game that – so it seems – uses some type of collectible cards to drive the actions of 3D characters. Gamers will play their cards and watch the action play out in realtime, as they lead the Space Wolves into battle against Word Bearers Chaos Space Marines and the Necrons.
Release date is sometime in 2014.
#3 – Thoughts?
It’s (said to be) free to play, so there’s little that could stop people from giving it a try. A Space Wolves game (fighting Chaos Space Marines and Necrons) also seems tailor-made to tide over the fans of these particular armies, all of which are likely to go without a tabletop update for some time.
What do you think?
Would you be interested in anther “casual” Warhammer 40K? A Space Wolves-flavoured game?
