Space Marine Strike Force Ultra … with First Captain Agemman

Strike Force Agemmon

The cover of next week’s White Dwarf Weekly previews a new Space Marines boxed set – Strike Force Ultra – including the new Terminator Captain, Ultramarines First Captain Agemman.

The details on the miniature are generic enough that he should make a fine non-Ultramarine Terminator Captain. But the little ‘U’-shaped laurel on the shield and the consistent branding show that GW clearly wants to sell him as a named character.

This, of course, raises the question whether there will be unique rules for “Captain Agemman”. In the next White Dwarf? In the box itself? In a possible future Ultramarines Supplement?

    Smurfs again? Do we really really ran out of chapters?

      I don’t really agree with that comment : GW (and FW) clearly made an effort towards non-UM chapters, be it Codices (Sentinels of Terra, Clan Raukaan), random Chapters decals, and the FW official Chapter Tactics…

      As for the Laurels described by Zweischneid, this is a symbol usually rendered as a wreath, hence in a U shape… Regardless of the chapter.

      So even if he is displayed as Capt. Agemman, I, on the opposite, think that they went through great efforts to avoid chapter-specific iconography (see the “clean” shoulder & knee pads, with UM decals & freehands)…

      My only concern is about the size (and related price) of the “Strike Force Ultra”… If it’s 4-5 TDA squads just for that Terminator captain, that’s a step higher than the Reclusiam Command Squad !! I guess we’ll see…
